To insure your first visit with us is a pleasant one, here are the procedures you can expect:
  1. Paper work: You will be asked to complete a questionnaire and general information sheet.
  2. Video: You will view a short video that explains chiropractic care and how it may benefit you.
  3. Consultation: Dr. Nakata will meet with you and review your health history. You will be advised of the cost of any procedures.
  4. Examination: Standard physical, orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic tests will be performed to determine the cause(s) of your problem.
  5. X-rays: Necessary views may be taken to visualize the location of any spinal problems, reveal any pathologies and make your care more precise.
  6. Immediate Care: Dr. Nakata may suggest an application or procedure to temporarily relieve you of symptoms. He will not be able to perform chiropractic adjustments on your first visit.
  7. Future Visits: On your next visit, Dr. Nakata will have studies your examination report and x-rays. He will then review his findings with you and make specific recommendations. Typical visits will last approximately 5-10 minutes.
  8. Adjustments: Dr. Nakata will use carefully directed and controlled pressure to restore the movable bones of your spine to a more normal motion and position. These procedures are called chiropractic adjustments. Dr. Nakata uses motion palpation analysis to determine where, when, and how often to make an adjustment.
